As being a Chartered Accountant, are you looking for tips to start your own blog?
And you have no idea to get it start.
Here i am explaining 6 steps for chartered accountant to start a blog.
1.) Select a niche
Before start blogging, a Chartered Accountant should select a niche according to his/her expertise. It could be Indirect Taxation, Direct Taxation, Corporate law, or Auditing or anything you wants to write on.
2.) Select your Blog’s name.
This is so much more important than it sounds. You want to make sure your name represents what you are trying to write or share. The name should be catchy or related to your write-ups.
3.) Select a platform to write blogs
There are pros and cons for both sides. There are two types of WordPress (are you confused yet)? The free kind and the paid kind.
The difference between paid and free version of WordPress is features. You will get more features to optimize or design your blog in paid version of WordPress as compared to free version.
4.) Design of your Blog
Choose your template. There are hundreds and hundreds of free templates. Just Google blogger templates or wordpress templates and look around until you find one that you like.
5.) Customize your selected Template
There are some tools or plugins, provided by every blogging site to optimize a blog more efficiently. I am writing a list of plugin, which a chartered accountant must include in his/her blog.
- Social Media Buttons
- About Me Page
- Email Follow Box
- Search box
- Facebook Follow Box
- Popular Posts
- Contact Information
6.) Write and publish your blog
Now you are all set to publish your first blog. Before publishing your first blog as being a chartered accountant, first you should believe on yourself that blogging is not a rocket science, you can do it. And second, have patience to get traffic on your blog.
